Recording in WebLOAD is done at the HTTP level. This powerful recording method was designed with usability and flexibility in mind and allows the user to easily record any application with any browser. The recording process is completely visual with the user simply performing the desired process on the system under test. In the background, WebLOAD generates the script in the familiar JavaScript language.
During recording the user has constant access to response views that represent the recorded script with all required information; Page view, DOM view, HTML view and HTTP headers view. Visual script items such as transactions, concurrent blocks and synchronization points can easily be entered at anytime during recording and during script editing.
In order to generate a clean and usable script WebLOAD applies its URL filtering technology which automatically filters out browser add-ons and web analytics such as Google Toolbar and Google Analytics. Advanced users who need to create multiple scripts from a single recording can do so easily by changing different recording and script generation settings.
