In the real world not all users are alike. Users use different user-names, buy different products or select different preferences. To exercise the system under test with many users that truly mimic a real world scenario, we need to use different parameters for different users. This is achieved by parameterization.
WebLOAD`s powerful parameterization capabilities provide full coverage for any possible type of user input, ensuring that test scripts accurately reflect the real world environment. Parameter types such as date, time, random strings and input files can be visually added without having to write a single line of code.
For each parameter type it is possible to define additional properties such as access methods, update policy and expected behavior when running out of values. These powerful capabilities ensure that when the script is run under load each virtual user will use the parameters that have been defined for it.
