WebLOAD Analytics
Analysis & Reporting
Once load test execution is over, our goal would be to quickly and easily locate performance bottlenecks and identify their causes. During the load test, the WebLOAD console has collected performance data from the system under test. It is essential to transform this data into knowledge about performance bottlenecks and potential problems.

WebLOAD Analytics is a powerful analysis and reporting tool that provides a comprehensive and accurate view of system, transaction, component and end-user performance under load. Numerous custom and predefined report templates can be used to quickly and effectively pinpoint problematic performance aspects. Generated reports can be customized and combined together to create an elaborate load test report that can be either printed or exported into standard formats.

With a completely new user interface and built on the latest Java technologies, WebLOAD Analytics provides a wealth of reporting and analysis functionality, enabling you to generate professional performance reports:

  • The report templates gallery includes a repository of predefined report templates that can be altered to fit your specific needs. Additionally, it contains predefined portfolios that combine several templates into a single comprehensive report.
  • Any report content and layout can be modified by changing parameters (i.e. title, sub-title, logo) and filters (e.g. Time filter, Agenda Selection Filter, etc.).
  • Advanced data analysis can be done by using thresholds and percentiles for ignoring extreme values.
  • Powerful custom reports – you can select any performance measurement to appear in your report and modify the behavior of its X and Y axes. For the X-axis you can choose between time, load size and percentile. Your custom report can be saved into a custom report template, allowing you to generate the same custom reports for various sessions with just a single click.
  • The nature of performance testing is iterative – Load testing has to be repeated as new product versions are introduced. Analyzing the results of these additional tests involves comparing them to previous rounds. This can be easily achieved with WebLOAD Analytics' regression reports. Predefined regression reports enable comparison of up to six different sessions at a time.
  • Portfolio management – You can assign reports to a portfolio and generate, print and publish them as a single report. Portfolios can also be modified with filters to achieve greater flexibility when generating them for specific segments of the load session.
  • Reports can be printed and published into standard 3rd party formats such as HTML, PDF, RTF, CSV and XLS (Excel).
  • After you have defined a set of reports and portfolios that you wish to create for each load session you execute, you would probably want to automate their creation. This can be done easily using WebLOAD Analytics’ extensive command line interface for batch activation.
