WebLOAD can generate multimedia usage of Textual, Graphical and Video streaming, simulating end user browsing. It is important to note that the aim of the WebLOAD Multimedia Add-On is to test the applications with their embedded streaming rather than the streaming server.

The WebLOAD Multimedia Add-On supports different streaming servers including the popular Helix server based on the RTP/RTSP protocol.
WebLOAD’s efficient load generation technology enables simulation of hundreds of streams from a single PC machine. The test can be performed against the streaming server directly or routed through a proxy server. The WebLOAD streaming load Add-On supports running load through NAT (NAT traversal) and can simulate different clients/media players.
This Add-on is available as part of WebLOAD Professional Edition.
