RADVIEW CUSTOMER AUDI AG REPORTS HIGHER WEB RELIABILITY
WITH RADVIEW LOAD TESTING SOLUTIONS
WebLOAD makes Audi applications' load capacity predictable
Burlington, MA, February 14, 2005 - RadView™ Software Ltd. (OTCBB:
RDVWF), a leading provider of solutions for verifying the performance,
scalability and integrity of business-critical Web applications, today
announced that AUDI AG, Ingolstadt, a premier world wide car manufacturer, has
reported that the use of RadView's WebLOAD at its new WebCenter II is helping
significantly optimize test processes and speed implementation of new
applications by making load capacity predictable to ensure a quality customer
experience.
Ingbert Bernecker, project manager for the new WebCenter II implementation,
described the optimization: "Early testing with RadView's WebLOAD - in our own
developments as well as with our suppliers - saved us considerable time, effort
and cost. We chose WebLOAD as a quality assurance tool for our Web-based
applications because it enables us to ensure our high quality standards. We
also chose WebLOAD because of the fast and competent technical support that
RadView offers."
Audi developed WebCenter II to consolidate Web-based applications and create a
unified platform for the company's intranet. WebCenter II's development
included switching and migrating all existing applications to a new Linux
platform. Audi's development engineers and quality assurance teams use
RadView's WebLOAD, with its JavaScript-based test agendas, to conduct load and
stress tests for all the applications early in the development lifecycle.
WebCenter II hosts www.audi.de, www.audi.com and the Audi Car Configurator
Websites. It also hosts complex applications for authorized dealers, partners,
and suppliers. These applications include the Audi Extranet, an area exclusive
to AUDI AG partners, and a second-hand machine exchange, where used equipment
is sold via the Internet.
RadView's WebLOAD is also used by Audi partners and suppliers for testing
applications. This safeguards Audi's quality standards and helps avoid future
problems.
WebLOAD is available through RadView's flexible licensing program, allowing
companies to purchase just what they need for any given project.
