RADVIEW SOFTWARE INTRODUCES REAL-WORLD AND SIMULATED
DDoS TESTING FOR WEB APPLICATIONS

Burlington, MA, June 7, 2004 - RadView™ Software Ltd. (Nasdaq: RDVW), a leading provider of solutions for verifying the performance, scalability and integrity of business-critical Web applications announces software to test the resistance and resiliency of a Web application under DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack. A DDoS attack is a destructive assault intended to cripple or crash a Web application and its infrastructure. RadView's WebLOAD for DDoS provides a comprehensive and a real-world view of a Web application's response to an attack through the use of actual attack tools and known code. The software simulates real-world traffic under attack and collects application performance and response metrics to ensure Web applications can withstand a DDoS attack.

To effectively guard against DDoS assaults it is essential to understand how an application and infrastructure will perform when attacked. With WebLOAD for DDoS testers learn what attack will compromise which service and how availability to the end user and response times will be affected.

"A recent University of California at San Diego study estimates the number of DDoS attacks exceed 2,000 per week, and they are aimed at all sizes and types of firms," said Omri Reuter, Vice President of Product Development, RadView Software, Inc. "Web sites not tested from a DDoS attack risk losing millions of dollars of revenue and extensive system damage. Since DDoS attacks are readily available to anyone on the Internet, this is a real and growing threat."

The DDoS tests are easily managed through TestView, RadView's new integrated and comprehensive Web testing suite. TestView fully integrates functional testing, load/scalability testing and test management in one single user interface. TestView's ability to define, schedule, execute, and report sophisticated test scripts from one central location provides the QA and test organization with a great advantage.

WebLOAD for DDoS is designed for use in pre-production and production environments and comes bundled with a set of comprehensive real-world packet flood DDoS attacks including Tfn, Tfn2K, Trinoo, Smurf, Flitz, and more. Users can also simulate various packet-flooding scenarios. This enables the creation of packet floods based on the generic methods used by the following various attacks: TCP Flood (SYN, ACK, etc.), and UDP Flood, for example.

WebLOAD for DDoS is available today and pricing is dependent upon the configuration. The product supports Apache, IIS and J2EE-based application servers (BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, and JBoss), DB2, Oracle, SQL database servers as well as the Sun Solaris, IBM, AIX, Microsoft Windows and Linux RedHAT 7.2, 7.3, 8.0, 9.0 and Advanced Server 2.1 and 3.0 operating systems.
