leading provider of solutions for verifying the performance, scalability and
integrity of business-critical Web applications today announced that First
Genetic Trust (FGT), a software and services firm for genetic research, has
saved hours of programming time while improving the performance of their
patented enTRUST® application through the use of RadView's automated testing
tools for J2EE applications.
FGT's enTRUST® application is a highly secure, web-based genetic banking system
that enables pharmaceutical, biotechnology companies, medical research centers
and government sponsored research programs to efficiently collect, manage and
analyze genetic and medical data.
FGT uses RadView Software's WebLOAD to load and stress test the application
during data mining and WebLOAD Analyzer, the company's root cause analysis
tool, to pinpoint exactly where application performance can be improved. When
the system was first developed over three years ago, the company was conducting
its tests manually. Now, with the RadView tools, they are finding and resolving
problems in the code more quickly resulting in a shorter development lifecycle.
