First testing suite to correlate .NET and client-side metrics in real-time
for holistic view of application

software tools for testing mission critical .NET applications. RadView's
product suite provides test engineers with the ability to easily test and share
application performance information with development teams enabling quicker

RadView's tools allow testers to correlate .NET and client-side metrics in
real-time for a holistic view of the application. For example, ASP.NET and .NET
Framework server metrics are easily correlated and presented in the same graph
with client-side data such as overall Page Time and Per URL Page Time. In
addition, RadView's tools can test applications that utilize the .NET
ViewState, Web Forms, and Server Control features.

Setting Dynamic ViewState Variables
RadView's tools automatically retrieve dynamic ViewState values, making testing
easier and quicker for test engineers. ViewState is a dynamic variable in .NET
applications that resides in hidden fields, which maintains page state. It must
be set appropriately or the testing tool won't be able to access the
application. If an invalid or expired ViewState value is passed to the server
when trying to access a Web page, the server will deny the request.
Web Forms and Server Controls
RadView's tools support the testing of .NET key features such as Web Forms and
Server Controls. The .NET Web Forms page framework is a common language
runtime-programming model that can be used on the server to dynamically
generate Web pages. This framework includes a set of validation Server Controls
that provide a way to check input forms for errors and, if necessary, display
messages to the user.
Server-side and Client-side Metrics
RadView's tools enable users to view server-side metrics such as those from SQL
Server, IIS and .NET, and correlate them with client-side metrics such as Page
Time and Time to First Byte, while a test is running. This allows users to
quickly pinpoint bottlenecks in an application in real time.
