From its inception, WebLOAD was designed and built as a load testing tool for Internet applications. WebLOAD inherently supports the creation and execution of load-testing scripts (Agendas) for the performance testing of Internet applications, using the common HTTP/S protocol.

In addition to its comprehensive support for the HTTP/S protocol, WebLOAD supports a variety of internet protocols such as TCP, UDP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP and LDAP.

With WebLOAD, it is possible to create advanced test scripts that combine multiple Web protocols into one test script that simulates a composite business process. No programming knowledge is required to understand and modify test scenarios. With just a few mouse clicks it is possible to add data parameterization capabilities that ensure unique data for each virtual client.

During test execution, WebLOAD generates reports that clearly highlight poorly performing web pages, URLs and transactions, increasing the opportunity for problem capture and resolution before the system goes live.
