RadView's is well-known for their flexible and cost effective licensing model. WebLOAD Professional's licensing structure supports a variety of licensing models designed to meet the most common business and technical needs. To address specific business scenarios, RadView offers custom tailored license options that make WebLOAD financially attractive in any scenario.
A WebLOAD Professional license includes unlimited technical support, software upgrades, software updates, and support for all common web application protocols, including AJAX and Web Services that come as standard with our base solution. RadView doesn’t artificially inflate the cost of WebLOAD Professional by charging individually for today’s most common web application protocols like the majority of our competitors. Nor do we charge for individual load generators. With your WebLOAD Professional license you can utilize as many load generators as you need, on as many machines as you need, and in as many locations around the world as your business requires. Finally, with a WebLOAD professional license you can have any number of people on your team writing load test scripts as needed, without any extra costs.
There are several key factors that impact the final cost of WebLOAD Professional, these factors include the following:
License Size:
Number of virtual users - Each virtual user is the equivalent of a real user that is using your application.
License Term:
Perpetual - Purchase a WebLOAD license for ongoing use.
Rental - Rent WebLOAD for a pre-defined timeframe on a bi-weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
License Type:
Standard - Each license allows WebLOAD to be installed and used on a single machine.
Floating - Each license allows WebLOAD to be installed and used concurrently on several machines. The floating license is managed by the Collaboration server.
Server monitoring:
Optional to the standard WebLOAD Professional license are backend server monitoring modules that connect to your system under test and collect performance statistics during the load test. Performance statistics help in analyzing the performance of backend servers and aid in diagnosis of application performance bottlenecks. These performance statistics are available at run-time via the WebLOAD Console and post run-time within WebLOAD Analytics.

Optional Protocol Add-ons:
Adobe Flex – Allows for load testing Adobe Flex applications using the AMF protocol.
Streaming multimedia – Allows for load testing multimedia sites that use the RTSP/RTP protocol.
